The Ocooch Mountain Humane Society, Inc., is a 501c3 organization established in 2001 by a small group of people of from Richland County, Wisconsin concerned with the care and safety of animals.
OMHS has grown to have a healthy and substantial membership here in this small county located in southwestern Wisconsin. Energy, creativity, and hard work are the signature of OMHS. OMHS receives no tax dollars and is a completely volunteer organization depending upon donations, memberships, and fund raising events to support the vital needs of the animals under its wing.
The OMHS Board of Directors encourages you to view our site, join the Society, or consider making a donation in order to help animals in need.
We welcome and encourage you to join OMHS to support the work of the organization. You can also be a volunteer for OMHS where you will meet people who, like you, care about the welfare of animals. Volunteer at the shelter or at an event, give a donation of money or goods, or show your support simply by being a member. You can be as active as you choose to be. Membership is often a required part in grant applications that are available for OMHS, and your membership will definitely help add to the census of member numbers necessary to the purpose.
